Today was a messy start! We began the day by throwing plaster at our clay sculptures. We had to make sure every part was covered with plaster. I somehow managed to through plaster in my eyes and hair
- this part was not fun 😑To prepare for this part we pushed foiled through the clay so that it could create a wall - separating two halfs.
Once the clay was dry, I pulled the foils out with pliers - this was quite tough to do. we then separated it by running water through the cracks of the plasters and teased it apart. The mould was then washed and the detail of my sculpture turned out really well.
I now just have to cast my mould by covering it in clay.
